The Viral Leak
Pulse Studio is a small communication agency in Lille. For three months, the team has worked on a secret video campaign for Nordik, a Lille sneaker brand. The video must launch today, Friday, at 18:00, on all Nordik's social media accounts. Nobody must see it before then.
But last night, at 23:14, the full video appeared on an anonymous account, @sneakleaks_59. By this morning, 380,000 people had watched it. Nordik is furious. The agency director, Camille Roux, has called a crisis meeting: you are the crisis team. Find out who leaked the video, how and why, and what it will cost the agency. You have 60 minutes.
Rules of the investigation
- Each player has their own card, on paper or on their own phone. Read it aloud as often as you like, but never show it to anyone.
- English only. Every word of French costs your team one minute.
- Type every answer on the team screen, never on your own phone.
- When the team screen accepts an answer, it shows a card code. Every player types it on their phone to open the next card (or the team opens the next envelope).
- Each lock has one hint. It costs two minutes.
- Lock 6 is opened by the agency director (your teacher) in person. Present your case and your statement.
Set up this phone
Every team needs one team screen: a laptop or a phone that runs the timer and checks your answers. Without it, your cards will not open.
- One person: tap Team screen. A laptop is best.
- Everyone else: tap your letter. Your teacher tells you which one (see the table below).
- On the team screen, type your team name and press Start the clock. It shows a start code. Every player types it on their phone to open card 1.
